Marlene Hennessey, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Marlene Hennessey has practiced Audiology for 35 years. Her range of experience in the field of Audiology includes newborn screenings, dizziness / balance testing, pediatric and adult diagnostic evaluations, fitting and dispensing hearing aids and aural rehabilitation. She has focused most passionately on the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids, because it allows her to help others improve their quality of life through better hearing.

Dr. Hennessey spent the early years of her profession at the West Texas Rehabilitation Center in Abilene, Texas, where her primary focus was diagnostic testing, central auditory processing evaluations and fitting/dispensing of hearing aids. After moving to Victoria in 1991, she continued her Audiology career at the Hear Foundation of Texas, a non-profit speech and hearing clinic. She joined Victoria ENT Hearing Center in 1999 and has enjoyed working with the people in Victoria and the surrounding area.

Dr. Hennessey maintains membership with the Texas Academy of Audiology, and the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Marlene has been married to her husband John since 1991. They have a son, Jonathan and a daughter, Rachel. Marlene enjoys gardening, reading, travelling, and boating activities.
